Gracie's Makeover

So we have tossed it around for a while. The end decision was that we were going to put the ol Chevy's flatbed onto the Dodge. There were a lot of reasons for this decision. Part of it being the added weight. Other parts being for the things that Ac can do with a flat bed compared to a fleet side bed.

When we bought Gracie - this is how she looked

She's a beautiful 1996 Dodge Ram with a Cummins Diesel in her. Automatic (unfortunately). All the dents and dings - are courtesy of my hubby when he is hauling firewood. We bought her at the first part of February last year. She's almost paid off!!!

This past winter we decided to take the tool box out while the Toyota was broken down. This made it easier to haul firewood (and capable of hauling more at a time) in our truck for our customers. Of course this photo was also right after we hit a deer. So the headlight was missing (sometime in the near future she will get a Ranch Hand bumper on her :D)

So today - Hubby took her over to the shop and started tearing into her. He took the fleet side bed off of her - and washed her up so there wasnt a ton of mud on her when they went to put the flatbed on.

He came home for lunch, and waited on his best buddy, Heath to get here. Anyway - when all was said and done - here is the finished Gracie :)

I think she's sexy :) But thats my personal opinion haha
