I had no idea there were so many 'direct sales' companies out there! A few I have heard of. Like Scentsy (which I am selling) and of course, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Avon, Mary Kay. But there are hundreds of them out there. I was considering in the new year taking on a second one. But I am not sure which one. I LOVE Pampered Chef. But they are a bit expensive. Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Tupperware. And would probably buy so much myself, I wouldn't make any profit. Of course, as you know from my last post, I have been considering selling 31 gifts also. But I am thinking the same thing. Would purchase up my profit. Maybe not. Once I got what I needed, I probably wouldn't purchase again. Silpada is pretty, but I don't wear jewelry, and its hard to market it, if you yourself don't use it. Plus, Sharon Buckle sells Silpada, locally, so I could just send people to her :) I don't wear make-up, or pamper myself, so I'd never do any of the make-up ones. My grandmother sells Avon, so I won't do that. But wow. There are just soooooo many things. I do like Tastefully Simple. There is also a company called Petlane. And with having pets, that might be something to consider. My choices are
I know there are more out there. But of course. I don't want to bite off more then I can chew. Hence the reason I want to wait to start any of this for a few months. I am LOVING selling Scentsy. Just thought another added income wouldn't be too bad. And with all of the above (except Tastefully Simple) parties could be combined. I wouldn't comine a TS party with a Scentsy party, due to the intermix of the smells :)
Anyone have any suggestions? Any views or thoughts? What is your take on all this?
