Don't get me wrong. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE my Scentsy systems. But the smell of fresh simmering chili smells soooooooooooo much better. My mouth is watering waiting on the chili to finish.
Ac is finally home. :) Thank the good lord he made it home safely, and is now out splitting firewood. Like usual. He even plugged in Gracie for me, so I can go to the post office tomorrow. He's such a good guy.
The kids are getting a bit restless. Sadly. Its not even halfway thru winter yet, and they already have cabin fever. I can't wait for spring/summer again! Maddie is even confining herself to her dog house or the couch inside, so she can stay warm and be where the people are. I still wonder if she'll be having puppies soon. I guess we'll see!!
I think tomorrow, after I run my errands, I will bake all my goodies today! Maybe half with nuts and half without on the brownies.
I didn't get any freebies in the mail today (except my Kleenex), and didn't sign up for any. But I am still LOVING my free glasses from Coastal Contacts!! I will have to watch for other specials, so I can get my daughter a spare pair. And if anyone needs a referral link, let me know! I'll send you one! All I had to do was pay shipping and handling, I got in when they were doing a 'freebie' day. They are amazing! Guess brand and they are super super light! I still love wearing contacts, but these glasses are way better then the Wal-Mart $38 ones I got. Plus! I found out that my contacts are cheaper via CC also! What beats that! I will definitely be shopping there more often!
I am SUPER excited for Christmas to get here. We got the kids a Wii (well the whole family together), and each one a Scentsy buddy of course! On payday, I will probably go get some more Wii games, and some stocking stuffers. So far, I have gotten them each a couple packs of Silly Bandz (yes my children are part of the craze) But I want to STUFF their stockings this year. We ended up having to take our tree down yesterday (or maybe the day before), due to the cat. She decided, ornaments or not, she wanted to climb to the top of it every night while we were sleeping. So when we would wake in the morning, the tree would be hanging on one side, and sticking up like its supposed to on the other. It pissed me off, so I took it down. Thought of getting a little table top tree that isn't much bigger then her, MAYBE she'd stay out of it that way. Who knows. I know the kids are excited for their parties at school, their Christmas program, and of course, all the gifts coming from everyone. I decided to get all our parents something this year, and some Scentsy for Mom. Went over and let her pick it out the other day. Hopefully, thanks to me working, this will be a GREAT Christmas!!!
